¿A veces te sorprende la gente que Dios escoge usar y a través de quiénes obra? Me sorprendió que me eligiera y puede que tú sientas lo mismo. Dios escoge personas que lo aman y cuyos corazones están con Él, y no siempre son las más educadas o talentosas.
La unción de Dios (su presencia y poder en nuestras vidas) nos califica para su uso. No a quién conocemos, las cosas que poseemos, cuánta educación tenemos o cuan naturalmente talentosos seamos. Estas son buenas noticias, porque significa que Dios puede y utilizará a todos los que estén disponibles. No es necesario tener alguna habilidad, solo disponibilidad. Cuando nos damos cuenta de que Dios elige a aquellos que tienen menos posibilidades de ser elegidos, hace que le demos a Dios toda la gloria por lo que él hace a través de ellos. También nos impide jactarnos de nosotros mismos. Nunca te descartes. Solo entrégate a Dios y pídele que te use como él desea, y luego prepárate para cualquier cosa. ¡Todo es posible con Dios!

GOD’S CHOICES SURPRISE US
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.
—1 CORINTHIANS 1:27–29
Are you sometimes surprised by the people God chooses to use and through whom He works? I have been surprised that He chose me, and you may feel the same way. God chooses people who love Him and whose hearts are with Him, and they are not always the most educated or most talented.
God’s anointing (His presence and power in our lives) qualifies us for His use—not who we know, what we own, how much education we have, or how naturally gifted we are. This is good news, because it means that God can and will use everyone who makes themselves available. We don’t have to have ability, just availability. When we realize that God chooses those who are least likely to be chosen, it causes us to give God all of the glory for what He does through them. It also prevents us from boasting about ourselves.
Never count yourself out. Just give yourself to God and ask Him to use you as He desires—and then get ready for anything. All things are possible with God!

“Father, naturally speaking, I don’t have much to offer, but I give You all that I am and all that I am not. I ask You to use me as You desire. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
