LA GUÍA DE DIOS

  • Post published:

GOD’S GUIDANCE

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

—PSALM 32:8

God promises to guide and counsel us, but we must turn to Him in order to receive His help. All of God’s ways may not make sense to our reasoning, but His ways always work. If you have tried your way and things in your life are not working well, then I highly recommend that you try God’s ways. In a relationship with God, stubbornness is not attractive. He wants us to be pliable and moldable in His loving hands, always ready to do as He suggests or asks.

God works at His pace, not ours. It may seem slow, but His timing is perfect. The fact that we think that now is the right time for something doesn’t make it true. God always knows best, and He always does the best thing for us if we are willing to wait on Him and not turn to our own ways to try to get Him to answer more quickly.

Have you ever been in a hurry and tried doing your own thing instead of waiting on God? I think we all have, but hopefully we have learned from our experience that waiting on God is always best. I would rather wait longer and end up with the right thing than push my own plan and end up with the wrong thing.

Prayer :

“Father, You have promised to guide and counsel me, and that is what I want. Help me be patient and wait on You for the guidance I need. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
