Te animo a rogar a diario que Dios te use para bendición de otras personas, y proponte escuchar y prestar atención a cómo él quiere obrar a través de ti. He aprendido que si escucho cuidadosamente, la gente me dice lo que necesita. No me insinúan que los ayude, pero en una simple conversación y haciendo las preguntas indicadas, descubro cómo puedo ayudarlos y bendecirlos.
Es bueno pedirle a Dios ser una bendición, pero debemos tener cuidado de no pedírselo solo porque suena espiritual, y fallar al escuchar y tomar la acción adecuada. Tal vez no siempre seremos capaces de proveer lo que la gente necesita, pero en muchas instancias podremos, si tan solo estamos dispuestos a hacerlo.
Ser bendición para otros, es una de las cosas más poderosas que podemos hacer; aún a pesar de que podríamos necesitar sacrificarnos para hacerlo, terminaremos siendo más bendecidos que quienes hemos ayudado.

LEARN TO LISTEN
Understand [this], my beloved brethren. Let every man be quick to hear [a ready listener], slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry.

I encourage you to pray daily that God will use you to be a blessing to other people, and then purpose to listen and pay attention to the ways He may want to work through you. I have learned that if I listen carefully, people often tell me what they need. They are not hinting for me to help them, but in simple conversation and by asking the right questions, I discover what would help and bless them.
It is good to pray to be a blessing, but we must be careful not to do it merely because it sounds spiritual and then fail to listen and take action accordingly. We may not always be able to provide what people need, but in many instances we can if we are truly willing to help.
Being a blessing to others is one of the most powerful things we can do, and although we may need to sacrifice in order to do it, we end up being even more blessed than the ones we help.
Prayer:
“Thank You, Father, for all You have done for me. I ask that You help me be quick to hear what people need and always be willing to help. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
