El Libro de los Hechos cuenta la historia de la iglesia primitiva y uno de sus temas claves es la unidad. Muchos versículos en Hechos mencionan que los creyentes estaban juntos, enfatizando la importancia de la unidad en la fe y la oración entre los cristianos (2:1, 46; 4:24; 5:12; 15:25). Los primeros seguidores de Jesús vivieron en un tiempo emocionante, donde vieron a Dios hacer grandes cosas a través de la oración y la fe unificada, como también por el poder del Espíritu Santo.
El apóstol Pablo, autor de Hechos, también escribió Filipenses y menciona la importancia de la fe unificada en Filipenses 2:2: “Completad mi gozo, sintiendo lo mismo, teniendo el mismo amor, unánimes, sintiendo una misma cosa”.
No tienes que reunir a un gran grupo de personas para tener unión en la fe y la oración. Podrías empezar rezando junto a una sola persona más. Jesús dice: “Porque donde están dos o tres congregados en mi nombre, allí estoy yo en medio de ellos” (Mateo 18:20). Comienza poco a poco si es necesario, y observa cómo Dios responde a la unión en oración. Cuando oras con otros creyentes, sin importar cuántos sean, puedes esperar que Dios haga grandes cosas.

THE POWER OF UNITY IN FAITH AND PRAYER
They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

The Book of Acts tells the story of the early church, and one of its key themes is unity. Many verses in Acts mention that the believers were together, emphasizing the importance of unity in faith and prayer among Christians (2:1, 46; 4:24; 5:12; 15:25). Jesus’ early followers lived in an exciting time, when they saw God do great things through their united faith and prayer and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The apostle Paul, who wrote Acts, also wrote Philippians and mentions the importance of unified faith in Philippians 2:2: “Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, having the same love [toward one another], knit together in spirit, intent on one purpose [and living a life that reflects your faith and spreads the gospel—the good news regarding salvation through faith in Christ]” (AMP).
You do not have to gather a large group of people in order to have unity in faith and prayer. You might consider starting by praying with just one other person. Jesus says, “Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20). Start small if you need to, and see how God responds to unity in prayer. When you pray in unity with other believers, no matter how many there are, expect God to do great things.

“Father, I pray that You would connect me with like-minded believers with whom I may join my faith and my prayers. Amen.”
