En algún momento de tu vida puede que alguien te haya dicho: “¡no me repliques!”. O tal vez le has dicho eso a tus hijos. Responderle a alguien es usualmente considerado falta de respeto, pero hay instancias en las cuales creo que es, tanto apropiado, como necesario. Siempre está bien replicarle a nuestro enemigo; al diablo.
Cuando el diablo atrajo a Jesús al desierto para tentarlo, Jesús respondió a cada intento diciéndole: “Escrito está” y replicó a todo lo que el diablo decía con las Santas Escrituras. Él combatió y derrotó al diablo con la Palabra de Dios (Mateo 4:1-11).
Te animo a seguir el ejemplo de Jesús. El enemigo vendrá contra ti con mentiras y tú puedes responderle usando la Palabra de Dios. Por ejemplo, podría ser que él te dijera que Dios no te ama realmente y tú responder: “Dios me ama con amor eterno. Me ama tanto que envió a su hijo a morir para que yo pueda tener una buena relación con Él” (lee Jeremías 31:3; Juan 3:16). Puede que el diablo te diga que nunca alcanzarás nada en la vida y tú puedes replicar así: “Dios tiene grandes planes para mí. Él planea darme un futuro lleno de esperanza” (lee Jeremías 29:11). Uno de los mejores consejos que puedo darte es que le des prioridad a estudiar y aprender la Palabra de Dios. Esto te ayudará de muchas maneras, especialmente cuando le repliques al enemigo y derrotes sus mentiras.

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

At some point in your life, someone may have said to you, “Don’t you talk back to me!” Or perhaps you have said these words to your children. Talking back is generally considered disrespectful, but there is an instance in which I believe it is both appropriate and necessary. It’s always okay to talk back to our enemy, the devil.
When the devil led Jesus into the wilderness to tempt Him, Jesus answered every temptation by saying, “It is written,” and then He went on to counter the enemy’s claims with Scripture. He fought—and defeated—the enemy with the Word of God (Matthew 4:1–11).
I encourage you to follow Jesus’ example. The enemy will come against you with lies, and you can talk back to him using God’s Word. For example, he may tell you that God doesn’t really love you, and you can say, “God loves me with an everlasting love. He loves me enough to send His Son to die so that I can be in right relationship with Him” (see Jeremiah 31:3; John 3:16). He may say your life will never amount to anything, and you can respond with, “God has great plans for my life, plans to give me a future filled with hope” (see Jeremiah 29:11). One of the best pieces of advice that I could ever give you is to prioritize studying and learning God’s Word. This will help you in many ways, especially as you talk back to the enemy and defeat his lies.

“Father, help me to prioritize studying and learning Your Word. Your Word gives me victory in every situation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
