¿Andarán dos juntos, si no estuvieren de acuerdo?
—AMÓS 3:3
Dos personas no pueden dar un paseo juntas a menos que estén de acuerdo en hacerlo, de lo contrario, una irá en una dirección y la otra en sentido opuesto. Entonces, en lugar de caminar juntos, tirarán el uno del otro. Hay poder en la unidad. Uno podría perseguir a mil, y dos hacer huir a diez mil (Deuteronomio 32:30). Somos mucho más fuertes juntos que separados.
Jesús dice que cuando dos personas se unen en oración, él está en medio de ellas (Mateo 18:19-20). Vivir en armonía con las personas es bueno, pero vivir de acuerdo con Dios es incluso más importante. Por ejemplo, ¿estás de acuerdo con lo que Dios dice de tu pasado? Pide que te olvides de él, porque está haciendo algo nuevo (Isaías 43:18-19). ¿Estás de acuerdo con esto? o, sigues arrastrando tu pasado contigo dejando que te acose y te haga sentir culpable…
¿Estás de acuerdo con Dios con relación a tu futuro? Él dijo, a través del profeta Jeremías, que tiene un buen plan para ti. El Señor tiene: “pensamientos de paz, y no de mal, para daros el fin que esperáis” (Jeremías 29:11). ¿O crees las mentiras de Satanás de que ya es demasiado tarde para ti y que por tus errores vivirás siempre en segundo plano?
Dios te ama mucho, por eso te insto a que vivas de acuerdo a todo lo que él dice en su Palabra. Esta es la única verdad que existe, y todo lo que esté en desacuerdo con ella, es mentira.
Oración:
“Padre, quiero vivir de acuerdo contigo. Ayúdame a creer lo que dices de mí más de lo que dice la gente o las mentiras del diablo. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén.
AGREE WITH GOD
Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?
—AMOS 3:3
Two people cannot take a walk together unless they agree to do so. Otherwise, one will go in one direction and the other in the opposite direction. Then, instead of walking together, they will pull against each other. There is power in unity. One can put a thousand to flight and two ten thousand (Deuteronomy 32:30). We are much stronger together than we are individually.
Jesus says that when two people agree in prayer, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:19–20). Living in agreement with people is good, but living in agreement with God is even more important. For example, do you agree with what God says about your past? He says to forget your past, because He is doing a new thing (Isaiah 43:18–19). Do you agree with that? Or are you still dragging your past with you, letting it hound you and make you feel guilty?
Do you agree with God concerning your future? He said through the prophet Jeremiah that He has a good plan for you. He has “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). Or are you believing Satan’s lie that it is too late for you, and that because of your mistakes you will always live a second-rate life?
God loves you very much, and I urge you to live in agreement with everything He says in His Word. This is the only truth that exists, and anything that disagrees with it is a lie.
Prayer:
“Father, I want to live in agreement with You. Help me believe what You say about me more than I believe what people say or the lies of the devil. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
