Cuando nos rendimos a Dios, nos entregamos a él y nos sometemos a su poder. Cuando nos subordinamos por completo a Dios, le damos todo lo que somos, pero también tenemos que darle lo que no somos.
No nos importa darle a Dios nuestros talentos o inteligencia o parte de nuestro dinero, pero ¿estamos dispuestos a darle también nuestras debilidades, incapacidades, fracasos, mala reputación y otros aspectos de nosotros mismos que vemos como menos favorables? Cuando Dios nos llama, nos invita a ir a su lado tal y como somos, para que él nos haga lo que quiere que seamos. Pero es raro encontrar quienes estén dispuestos a ofrecerle a Dios sus debilidades, y crean que él puede manifestar su poder a través ellas también. Es siempre importante recordar lo que el Señor dijo al apóstol Pablo: “Mi poder se perfecciona en la debilidad”, pues cuando somos débiles, podemos ser realmente fuertes en él (2 Corintios 12:9-10).
Muchas personas están frustradas y completamente agotadas de intentar ser algo que no son, tratando de darle a Dios lo que no tienen. Él quiere tu verdadero yo, lo bueno y lo malo. Una vez le entregas todo, entonces él puede hacer algo hermoso con ello.
Oración:
“Padre, quiero entregarme por completo a ti. Toma mis fortalezas y debilidades, para que pueda ser verdaderamente fuerte en ti. Ayúdame a creer que me quieres tal como soy. Gracias. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén”.
COMPLETE SURRENDER
Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.

When we surrender to God, we yield to Him and submit ourselves to His power. When we surrender completely to God, we give Him all that we are, but we should also give Him all that we are not.
We don’t mind giving God our talents or intelligence or some of our money, but are we willing to also give Him our weaknesses, inabilities, failures, poor reputation, and other aspects of ourselves that we view as less favorable? When God calls us, He invites us to come to Him as we are and let Him make us what He wants us to be. But we rarely encounter people who are willing to offer their weaknesses to God and believe that He can show His strength through them also. It’s always important to remember what the Lord said to the apostle Paul: “My strength is made perfect in weakness,” for when we are weak in ourselves, then we can be truly strong in Him (2 Corinthians 12:9–10 NKJV).
Many people are frustrated and completely worn-out from trying to be something they are not and trying to give God things they do not have. He wants the real you—the good and the bad. Once you release everything to Him, then He can make something beautiful out of it all.
Prayer:
“Father, I want to surrender all of myself to You. Take my strengths and my weaknesses, so I can truly be strong in You. Help me believe that You want me just the way I am. Thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
