¿Alguna vez has pasado tiempo trabajando o haciendo ejercicio al aire libre en un día caluroso? ¡Te da sed! Y nada sacia más la sed que una buena bebida fría. Un gran vaso de agua helada saciará tu sed como ninguna otra cosa podría. Tal como sabemos que el agua fría saciaría la sed física, sabemos cómo saciar la sed espiritual, esos sentimientos de necesidad o desesperación en nuestros corazones. Jesús nos dice en el versículo de hoy que todo el que tiene sed puede venir a él y será saciado. Siempre que tengamos alguna necesidad, debemos simplemente acudir a él y él la satisfará. Nada es muy difícil para él (Jeremías 32:27) y nunca se quedará sin recursos para ayudarnos (Filipenses 4:19). Él es como una fuente que nunca se seca. El único requisito para que Jesús satisfaga tus necesidades, es que tengas una necesidad. Puedes estar seguro de que cuando acudas a él, te dará la bienvenida. En Juan 6:37, él dice: “Todo lo que el Padre me da, vendrá a mí; y al que a mí viene, no le echo fuera [Yo nunca, jamás voy a rechazar a alguien que me siga]” (RVR 1960). ¿Tienes hoy alguna necesidad? Jesús saciará tu sed.
Oración:
“Padre, gracias por satisfacer cada una de mis necesidades y por saciar hasta mi sed más profunda. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén”.
ARE YOU THIRSTY?
On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”

Have you ever spent time working or exercising outside on a hot day? It makes you thirsty! And nothing satisfies that thirst except a nice, cold drink. A tall glass of ice water will quench your thirst like nothing else.
Just as we know that cold water will quench physical thirst, we know how to quench spiritual thirst—those feelings of need or desperation in our hearts. Jesus tells us in today’s scripture that anyone who is thirsty can come to Him and be satisfied. Whenever we have any kind of need, we simply go to Him, and He will meet it. Nothing is too difficult for Him (Jeremiah 32:27), and He never runs out of resources to help us (Philippians 4:19). He is like a fountain that never runs dry.
The only requirement for having Jesus meet your need is to have a need. You can be certain He will welcome you when you go to Him. He says in John 6:37: “All that My Father gives Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, never reject anyone who follows Me]” (AMP).
Do you have a need today? Jesus will satisfy your thirst.

“Father, thank You for meeting my every need and satisfying even my deepest thirst. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
