Lucas 15:16-17
El joven llegó a tener tanta hambre que hasta las algarrobas con las que alimentaba a los cerdos le parecían buenas para comer, pero nadie le dio nada. »Cuando finalmente entró en razón, se dijo a sí mismo: “En casa, hasta los jornaleros tienen comida de sobra, ¡y aquí estoy yo, muriéndome de hambre!
Imagínese al hijo pródigo mirando a los cerdos a los que les estaba dando de comer. Al echar las algarrobas en el chiquero, su estómago gruñía, y se dio cuenta de que ellos estaban comiendo mejor que él. ¡En realidad envidiaba a los cerdos! La vida no podía empeorar más. La única alternativa que este joven pudo imaginarse fue volver humillado a su padre. Puede imaginarse su alegría al regresar a casa y descubrir que su padre no solo lo había perdonado, sino que además le recibía con los brazos abiertos. De la misma manera, sin que importe cuán lejos se encuentre usted de Dios, sus brazos siempre están abiertos también.
Usted no se ha alejado demasiado de Él, no puede hacerlo.
(2 Timoteo 2.13).
“Si fuéremos infieles, él permanece fiel; Él no puede negarse a sí mismo”.
Su gracia siempre está disponible para sacarlo del foso del pecado y la derrota, y traerlo de regreso a la vida victoriosa. Así que no envidie a los cerdos ni se entregue a la desesperanza. Vuelva corriendo al Padre. Él desea restaurarlo por medio de su gracia y llenarlo de toda su bondad.
Mire en que lugar se encuentra podría ser en una relación tóxica, con un mal hábito, consumiendo drogas o alcohol, o tal ves trabajando en un lugar donde no le favorece estar… Dios le quiere quiere llevar e introducir en una nueva vida en su Presencia, donde todo lo viejo queda atrás y nuevo y mejor esta por venir.
Oración:
Padre Celestial, hoy te doy gracias porque tu misericordia es mas grande que la tierra y tu amor por mi es más dulce que la miel, gracias porque no importa que tan grande sean mis errores, siempre me perdonas y me reposiciónas como tu hijo, hoy te pido que nunca se aparte tu amor mi, y que me en todo momento me acompañes, aún en los momentos más difíciles de mi vida.
¡En el nombre de Jesús, amén!
Get out of that place
Luke 15: 16-17
The young man became so hungry that even the carob beans with which he fed the pigs seemed good to eat, but no one gave him anything. “When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself: ‘At home, even the laborers have food to spare, and here I am, starving!
Imagine the prodigal son looking at the pigs he was feeding. As he tossed the carob beans into the pigpen, his stomach growled, and he realized that they were eating better than he was. He actually envied pigs! Life couldn’t get any worse. The only alternative that this young man could imagine was to return his father humiliated. You can imagine his joy when he returned home to discover that his father had not only forgiven him, but also welcomed him with open arms. In the same way, no matter how far you are from God, his arms are always open as well.
You have not strayed too far from Him, you cannot.
(2 Timothy 2.13).
“If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful; he cannot deny himself.”
His grace is always available to lift him out of the pit of sin and defeat, and bring him back to victorious life. So don’t envy pigs or give in to despair. Run back to the Father. He wants to restore you through his grace and fill you with all his goodness.
Look where you are, it could be in a toxic relationship, with a bad habit, using drugs or alcohol, or maybe working in a place where you are not in favor … God wants to take you and introduce you to a new life in His Presence, where all the old is left behind and the new and better is yet to come.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, today I thank you because your mercy is greater than the earth and your love for me is sweeter than honey, thank you because no matter how great my mistakes are, you always forgive me and reposition me as your son, today I ask your love to never leave me, and that you accompany me at all times, even in the most difficult moments of my life.
In the name of Jesus, amen!
