Cuando los israelitas alcanzaron la prosperidad y se olvidaron de Dios, comenzaron sus problemas. Pedir la ayuda del Señor cuando lo necesitamos es una cosa, pero es otra totalmente diferente el darnos cuenta de que lo necesitamos en todo momento ya sea que estemos en problemas o no. Lo mejor que podemos hacer, es tomarnos el tiempo de recordar y agradecer a Dios por todas las maravillas que ha obrado en nosotros.
A veces recordamos lo que deberíamos olvidar y olvidamos lo que deberíamos recordar. Por ejemplo, deberíamos olvidar cuando alguien nos ofende, pero repetimos esas ofensas una y otra vez hasta que quedan grabadas en nuestra mente. Olvidemos las situaciones negativas que hemos tenido que sufrir y concentrémonos en recordar lo grande que es nuestro Dios rememorando toda su bondad hacia nosotros.
Oración:
“Padre, te pido perdón por las veces que me he olvidado de ti. Tú eres bueno y hoy te doy gracias por lo generoso que eres conmigo. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén”.
REMEMBERING
They forgot God their Savior, Who had done such great things in Egypt.

The Israelites invited much trouble into their lives by simply forgetting God when their circumstances were prosperous. Calling upon God when we are in need is one thing, while it is quite another to realize that we need Him at all times, whether we are struggling or at ease. One of the best things we can do is take time to remember and thank God for all the great things He has done in our lives.
We often remember what we should forget and forget what we should remember. For example, we should forget the offenses of other people toward us, but we often rehearse them daily and allow them to become etched in our memory. Let us forget those negative situations we have endured and focus on remembering how great our God is—and let’s rehearse all of His goodness to us.
Prayer:
“Father, I ask You to forgive me for the times I have forgotten You. You are good, and I give thanks today for Your extreme generosity toward me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
