PROGRESANDO

Gracias. En el nombre de Jesús, Amén”

MAKING PROGRESS

But the path of the [uncompromisingly] just and righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer) until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day [to be prepared].
—PROVERBS 4:18 AMPC

Wanting to make progress, no matter what we are doing, is built into our nature. This includes wanting to make spiritual progress in becoming progressively more like Jesus. I want to assure you today that if you are studying God’s Word and spending time with Him, you are growing. Sometimes growth is imperceptible because it occurs a little bit at a time, but it is definitely taking place.

Satan wants to discourage you by having you look at how far you have to go, but God wants to encourage you today by letting you know that you are changing a little bit at a time. As you continue to be diligent, you will reach a point in the future when you will be amazed at what God has done in you. Enjoy where you are today!

Prayer:
“Father, thank You for changing me daily, little by little, into Your image. My desire is to get as close to You as I can, and I trust that You are working In me. Thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
