El versículo de hoy me recuerda a 2 Timoteo 1:7: “Porque no nos ha dado Dios espíritu de cobardía, sino de poder, de amor y de dominio propio”. Cuando tenemos miedo, es obvio que el enemigo está trabajando, no Dios. A veces pensamos en el miedo como una emoción humana, pero, de hecho, es un espíritu. El espíritu del miedo a menudo opera como un pensamiento o un susurro diciéndote todas las razones para tener miedo y que Dios te ha olvidado y no te ayudará.
David, quien escribió el Salmo 23:4, le dice a Dios que él puede caminar por el valle más oscuro porque “tú estás conmigo”. Si el enemigo puede usar el miedo para hacernos pensar que Dios no está con nosotros, que no le importa por lo que pasamos y que no nos ama, puede empezar a ganar batallas en nuestras mentes y corazones. I WILL NOT FEAR
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Today’s scripture reminds me of 2 Timothy 1:7: “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (NKJV). When we become fearful, we can be sure that the enemy is at work, not God. Sometimes we think of fear as a human emotion, but it is actually a spirit. The spirit of fear often operates as a thought or a whisper telling you that you have every reason to be afraid and that God has forgotten you or will not help you.
David, who wrote the words of Psalm 23:4, says to God that the reason he can walk through the darkest valley is that “you are with me.” If the enemy can use fear to make us think that God is not with us—that He does not care about what we are going through or that He does not love us—he can begin to win the battle for our hearts and minds. No matter how fear comes against you, remember that it comes from the enemy, and remember that God is always with you and has not given you a spirit of fear.

“Father, help me to resist the attacks of fear that the enemy launches against me and to remember in every situation that You are with me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
