La oración es más que decirle a Dios lo que queremos o necesitamos; la oración está destinada a ser una conversación. En su momento de quietud con Dios, asegúrese de escuchar lo que Él le dice. Ya sea a través de su Palabra o como una revelación directa a su corazón (lo cual siempre se alineará con la Palabra de Dios), Dios usa muchas maneras de hablarle si le escucha.
Como cualquier conversación, el tiempo con Dios debe envolver hablar y escuchar. Estoy convencida de que no escuchamos lo suficiente. Puede que tenga que desarrollar la habilidad de escuchar, pero Dios tiene algunas cosas muy impresionantes que decir. Aprenda a esperar en Él en silencio.
Permítame recordarle hoy que Dios vive dentro de nosotros. Él es nuestro compañero constante. No es alguien con quien debemos hablar solo cuando tenemos una necesidad, sino que debemos comunicarnos con Él durante todo el día. Al hacerlo, le ayudará a construir una amistad íntima con Él que hará que su vida sea maravillosa.

Prayer Is a Conversation
The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me.
(John 10:27)
Prayer is more than us telling God what we want or need—prayer is meant to be a conversation. In your quiet time with God, make sure to listen to what He tells you. Either through His Word or as a direct revelation to your heart (which will always line up with the Word of God), God uses many ways to speak to you if you’ll listen.
Like any conversation, time with God should involve talking and listening. I am convinced that we don’t do nearly enough listening. You may have to develop an ability to listen, but God has some very awesome things to say. Learn to quietly wait on Him.
Let me remind you today that God lives inside of us. He is our constant companion. He is not someone we should talk to only when we have a need, but we should communicate with Him all throughout the day. As you do, it will help you build an intimate friendship with Him that will make your life awesome.

God has invited us into a relationship of fellowship with Him. It is to be an intimate relationship in which we share absolutely everything.
