Escuchando a la gente contarme sus sufrimientos y tribulaciones, me doy cuenta de que saben qué hacer para resolverlas; ocurre que simplemente no hacen lo que deberían. Aprender algo es siempre más fácil que hacerlo, pero el conocimiento no nos ayuda en nada si no tomamos acción.
Debemos aplicar siempre lo que nos ha enseñado Dios, especialmente cuando se trata de algo difícil. Si hacemos lo correcto cuando más nos cuesta, crecemos y maduramos en nuestra fe. Si actualmente tienes un problema, piensa en lo que le dirías a alguien más en la misma situación. Luego toma ese consejo y aplícalo a tu caso. Una vez lo hagas, irás bien encaminado hacia la victoria.

DOING THE RIGHT THING AT THE RIGHT TIME
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

In listening to people tell me of their troubles and miseries, I find that they don’t lack knowledge of what to do about their struggles; the problem is that they don’t do what they know they need to do. Learning something is always easier than doing it, but knowledge does us no practical good if we do not take action.
The lessons God has taught us always have to be applied, especially when applying them is not easy to do. But when we do the right thing when it is difficult, that’s when we mature and grow in our faith. If you have a problem right now, ask yourself what you would tell someone else to do if that person had your same problem. Then take your own advice, and do it yourself. You’ll be well on your way to victory.
Prayer:
“Father, thank You for this reminder that I need to be a doer of Your Word, not a hearer only. Help me always be obedient to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
