A fin de que no os hagáis perezosos, sino imitadores de aquellos que por la fe y la paciencia heredan las promesas.

Esperar pacientemente por aquello que necesitamos y deseamos, parece difícil para la mayoría de nosotros. Es todo un desafío si esperamos sufriendo un dolor físico o emocional. Leí que la Palabra de Dios contiene más de 5,400 promesas, por lo tanto, creo ser capaz de asegurar que ofrece promesas de ayuda y salvación para cualquier situación que encaremos. Saber que la ayuda está disponible nos brinda esperanza, aunque usualmente vemos que, a pesar de que damos rienda suelta a nuestra fe para heredar las promesas, aún debemos ser pacientes porque la respuesta no siempre viene de inmediato.
Durante la espera, nuestra fe es puesta a prueba y es posible que experimentemos duda o temor de que aquello que necesitamos o deseamos nunca llegue. Te animo a ponerte de pie y pelear la buena batalla de la fe (1 Timoteo 6:12), porque tu logro llegará si eres firme en tu idea y te rehúsas a darte por vencido. Puedes estar seguro de que Dios te ama en demasía y que su reloj está sincronizado a la perfección.

FAITH AND PATIENCE
So that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
—HEBREWS 6:12 ESV
Waiting patiently for what we need and desire seems to be difficult for most of us. It is especially challenging if we are in pain physically or emotionally while we wait. I read that God’s Word contains more than 5,400 promises, so I think it is safe to say that He offers a promise of help and deliverance for any situation we face. Knowing that help is available gives us hope, but we usually find that, even though we release our faith to inherit the promises, we still have to be patient, because the answer doesn’t always come right away.
During times of waiting, our faith is tested, and we may experience doubt or fear that what we need or desire will never come. But I want to encourage you to stand fast and fight the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12), because your breakthrough will come if you stand firm in your mind and refuse to give up. Be assured that God loves you very much and that His timing in your life will be perfect.

“Father, thank You for giving me the grace to not give up while I wait on You for my breakthrough to come. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
