Pero temo que como la serpiente con su astucia engañó a Eva, vuestros sentidos sean de alguna manera extraviados de la sincera fidelidad a Cristo.

Nuestros pensamientos determinan nuestras actitudes, palabras y acciones. Por eso Satanás intenta incansablemente engañarnos, generando pensamientos impíos en nuestras mentes. Es sabio meditar en Dios y tener pensamientos piadosos tanto como podamos, porque eso nos ayuda a continuar en el proceso de renovar nuestras mentes. Necesitamos aprender a pensar de la forma que Dios piensa, lo que significa pensar según lo indica su Palabra.
Puede que rechazar los pensamientos negativos y aceptar los positivos parezca una batalla, pero la recompensa vale la pena. Todos queremos las bendiciones del gozo y la paz mental, pero si analizamos cada pensamiento que viene a nosotros sin considerar su fuente, no podremos disfrutar de ellas. Asegúrate de ser diligente y pensar por tu cuenta y no le permitas a Satanás que te engañe con sus mentiras.
Oración:
“Padre, Te pido que me ayudes a resistir los pensamientos negativos y a pensar en las cosas buenas que tú deseas. Gracias. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén”.
MENTAL DECEPTION
But [now] I am fearful, lest that even as the serpent beguiled Eve by his cunning, so your minds may be corrupted and seduced from wholehearted and sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

Our thoughts determine our attitudes, words, and actions. Because of that, Satan frequently and relentlessly tries to deceive us by placing ungodly thoughts in our minds. Thinking about Jesus and godly principles as often as possible is wise because that helps us continue the process of renewing our minds. We need to learn to think the way God thinks, which means we think according to His Word.
Constantly refusing wrong thoughts and choosing right ones may seem like a battle, but the reward is well worth it. We all want the blessings of joy and peace of mind, but we will miss out on them if we meditate on every thought that comes to us without examining its source. Be sure you are diligent to do your own thinking, and don’t let Satan deceive you with his lies.
Prayer:
“Father, I ask You to help me to resist all wrong thoughts and instead choose to think on the good things that You want me to think about. Thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
