Buscar a Dios “temprano”, en este proverbio, probablemente signifique buscarlo en la hora temprana de cada día, pero también creo que es recomendable buscar a Dios “temprano” o al principio de cualquier proyecto. Hudson Taylor escribió: “No ofrezcas un concierto y luego afines tus instrumentos. Comienza el día con la Palabra de Dios y la oración, y entra primero que nada en armonía con Él”.
Dios es nuestro recurso (1 Corintios 8:6), y por esa razón, buscarlo y pasar tiempo con él a diario, no es una devota obligación sino un privilegio divino. Todos los días son un viaje con Dios y hallamos fortaleza para ese tránsito, pasando tiempo con él. Nada es más vital para una existencia efectiva, intencional, con propósito, que pasar tiempo a diario con Dios.
Cuando comienzas tu día correctamente estando con Dios, es más probable que vaya bien y termine bien. Solo imagínate cuán diferentes nuestras vidas serían, si cada uno pasara tiempo con Dios antes de dejar su casa y comenzar a interactuar con otra gente. Eso pondría fin a los sufrimientos que nacen del egoísmo, el crimen, la violencia, la injusticia y la opresión, solamente por nombrar a algunos.
No esperes a encontrar tiempo para Dios. Haz tiempo para él y tu vida mejorará enormemente.

STARTING YOUR DAY RIGHT
I love those who love me, and those who seek me early and diligently shall find me.

Seeking God “early” in this scripture probably means seeking Him in the early part of each day, but I also believe it is advisable to seek God early, or at the beginning of any project. Hudson Taylor wrote, “Do not have your concert first, and then tune your instrument afterwards. Begin the day with the Word of God and prayer, and get first of all into harmony with Him.”
God is our source (1 Corinthians 8:6), and because He is, seeking Him and spending time with Him daily is not a devout obligation, but a divine privilege. Every day is a journey with God, and we find strength for our journey by spending time with Him. Nothing is more vital to living an effective, intentional, “on purpose” life than daily time with God.
When you start your day right by spending time with God, it is more likely to go well and end well. Just imagine how different our lives would be if everyone spent time with God before they left their homes and began to interact with other people. It would put an end to the miseries that stem from selfishness, crime, violence, injustice, and oppression—just to name a few.
Don’t wait to find time for God. Make time for God, and your life will improve greatly.

“Father, I am sorry for all the times I have ignored You. Forgive me, and help me be diligent to start each day right by spending time with You. Thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
