Como tú no sabes cuál es el camino del viento, o cómo crecen los huesos en el vientre de la mujer encinta, así ignoras la obra de Dios, el cual hace todas las cosas.
—ECLESIASTÉS 11:5
En la vida ocurren muchas cosas que no entendemos. Si pudiéramos entenderlo todo, no tendríamos necesidad de confiar en Dios. A la gente buena le pasan cosas malas y esto nos confunde. Nuestro trabajo no es razonar, sino confiar.
Hay cosas que no conocemos, pero lo que sí sabemos, es que Dios es bueno y es fiel. Él nos hizo la siguiente promesa: “Sabemos que a los que aman a Dios, todas las cosas les ayudan a bien, esto es, a los que conforme a su propósito son llamados” (Romanos 8:28).
Pasé años confundida porque trataba de descifrar constantemente lo que Dios estaba haciendo en mi vida o por qué había pasado esto o aquello. Afortunadamente, Dios me enseñó que no debo confiar en mi propio entendimiento, sino reconocerlo a él en todos mis caminos y él enderezará mis veredas (Proverbios 3:5-6).
Entrégale tus preguntas al Señor y espera pacientemente en él para que te revele cualquier cosa que necesites saber. Al mismo tiempo, siéntete satisfecho con lo que no sabes, porque Dios está en control.

“Padre, me arrepiento de las veces que te cuestioné y no confié en ti. Perdóname y ayúdame a confiar en ti en el futuro, sin tener que saber lo que haces en mi vida. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén”.
GOD, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.
—ECCLESIASTES 11:5
In life, many things happen that we do not understand. If we could understand everything, there would be no need for us to trust God. Bad things happen to good people, and this confuses us. Ours is not to reason, but to trust.
There are things that we do not know, but we do know that God is good and that He is faithful. He promises us, “All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28 NKJV).
I spent years in confusion because I was constantly trying to figure out what God was doing in my life or why this thing or that thing had happened. Thankfully, God has taught me that I am not to lean to my own understanding, but to acknowledge Him in all my ways, and He will direct my paths.
(Proverbs 3:5–6).
Give your questions to the Lord and patiently wait on Him to reveal anything you need to know. At the same time, be satisfied with what you don’t know, because God is in control.
Prayer:
“Father, I repent for all the times I have questioned and not trusted You. Forgive me, and help me trust You in the future without having to know what You are doing. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
