El diablo quiere que pensemos que Dios no escucha ni responde a nuestras plegarias, pero eso no es cierto. Puede que pienses que Dios escucha y responde a las plegarias de los demás, pero no las tuyas porque tienes muchos defectos. Sin embargo, la Palabra de Dios nos recuerda a Elías, quien fue tan pecador como nosotros. Sobre él la Biblia dice: “Elías era hombre sujeto a pasiones semejantes a las nuestras, y oró fervientemente para que no lloviese y no llovió sobre la tierra por tres años y seis meses” (Santiago 5:17).
Dios ha diseñado una oración especialmente para aquellos que necesitan su ayuda. Pero si no creemos que él escucha y responde a nuestras plegarias, y no le pedimos lo que verdaderamente necesitamos, entonces difícilmente lo obtendremos (Santiago 1:6-8). Dios nos invita a rezar siempre y a realizar todo tipo de plegarias y solicitudes (Filipenses 4:6).
Nunca puedes orar con demasiada frecuencia o pedirle demasiado a Dios. Él disfruta que dependamos de él. Cuando rezamos, si creemos que vamos a obtener lo que pedimos, vamos a recibir lo que Dios tiene planeado para nosotros (Marcos 11:24). Puede que no lo obtengamos de inmediato, porque usualmente hay un tiempo de espera entre nuestra plegaria y el momento en que obtenemos lo que pedimos. Durante ese tiempo nuestra fe está a prueba.”Pero no te rindas, porque tu respuesta viene en camino.
Oración:
“Padre, quiero que mis oraciones sean poderosas. Te pido que me ayudes a intercambiar mis preocupaciones y ansiedad por fe, que me ayudes a confiar en ti, a confiar en que tú estás trabajando en mi nombre. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén”.
GOD HEARS AND ANSWERS PRAYER
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

The devil wants us to believe that God neither hears nor answers our prayers, but this is not true. You may think He hears and answers other people but not you, because you have too many faults. However, God’s Word reminds us of Elijah, who sinned just as we do, calling him “a human being with a nature such as we have… and he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months” (James 5:17 AMPC).
God has especially designed prayer for people who need His help. But if we do not believe that He hears and answers us, and if we do not ask Him for what we need in faith, we will not have it (James 1:6–8). We are invited to pray on every occasion, with all kinds of prayers and requests (Philippians 4:6).
You can never pray too often or ask God for too much. God delights in our dependence upon Him. When we pray, if we believe we will receive, we will have what God has planned for us (Mark 11:24). We may not get it immediately, because there is typically a waiting period between our asking and receiving. This is a time when our faith is being tested, but let me encourage you not to give up during those times, because your answer is on its way. Come boldly to the throne of God and receive the help you need anytime you need it (Hebrews 4:16).
Prayer:
“Father, I want to have a powerful prayer life. I ask You to help me trade worry and anxiety for faith and trust in You, that You’re working on my behalf. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
