Confiar en Dios para abrir las puertas correctas y cerrar las equivocadas, trae mucha paz a nuestras vidas. He intentado empujar una puerta que quería atravesar, y lo único que obtuve fue frustración porque no funcionó. Sin embargo, he aprendido a confiar en Dios no solo para abrir puertas correctas por mí, sino también para cerrar las equivocadas.
Cuando Dios abre una puerta, te facilita las cosas. Cuando él cierra una puerta, es en vano seguir intentando hacer lo que pretendías. He disfrutado de muchas puertas abiertas en mi vida y en mi ministerio, pero también he tenido que aprender que cuando Dios cierra una, tengo que alejarme de ella y confiar en él para el paso que sigue.
Dios siempre tiene planes más grandes y mejores para nosotros que los nuestros, si tan solo seguimos sus direcciones. Usualmente no hacemos la misma cosa durante toda nuestra vida, porque Dios asciende a los fieles. Tal vez estás intentando aferrarte a algo que Dios ya finalizó en tu vida. Si lo dejas ir, verás que otra puerta se abre llevándote a algo mejor que eso, a lo que te aferras con tanto desespero. Dios es fiel, puedes depositar toda tu confianza en él.
Oración:
“Padre, quiero confiar en ti para que me abras las puertas correctas y cierres las erradas. Ayúdame a reconocer lo que haces en mi vida y seguir tu guía. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén”.
GOD OPENS DOORS
These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.
—REVELATION 3:7
Trusting God to open the right doors and close the wrong ones for us brings much peace into our lives. I’ve tried pushing open a door I wanted to walk through, and the only result was frustration because it didn’t work. However, I have learned to trust God not only to open the right doors for me, but also to close the wrong ones.
When God opens a door for you, He makes things easy. When He closes a door, it is very difficult to continue trying to do what you have been doing. I have enjoyed many open doors in my life and ministry, but I have also had to learn that when God closes one, I need to walk away from it and trust Him for what is next.
God always has bigger and better plans for us if we will follow His lead. We don’t usually do the same thing all of our lives, because God promotes the faithful. Perhaps you are trying to hang on to something that God is finished with. If you will let it go, you will see that a new door will open and it will lead to something better than what you were trying to hold on to. God is faithful, and you can put all of your trust in Him.
Prayer:
“Father, I want to trust You to open right doors for me and close wrong ones. Help me recognize what You are doing in my life and to follow Your guidance. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
