Te envío, pues, a Hiram Abí, hombre sabio e inteligente… Sabe trabajar el oro y la plata, el bronce y el hierro, la piedra y la madera, el carmesí y la púrpura, el lino y la escarlata; también es experto en hacer toda clase de figuras y en realizar cualquier diseño que se le encargue.

El rey Salomón se enfrentó a numerosas decisiones en su proyecto de edificación. Construyó un templo (como una iglesia) y usó materiales como la piedra, la madera y los metales preciosos. Y necesitó a alguien que de verdad tuviera talento para que le ayudara a acabar el trabajo.
Así que Salomón contrató a un hombre llamado Hiram Abí que hacía maravillas con los metales, las piedras, la madera y la tela. Estas aptitudes hacían de él la estrella de rock del diseño y de la construcción de los judíos antiguos. Dado que el templo glorificaría a Dios, Hiram Abí era una persona imprescindible para que el edificio fuera el más hermoso del mundo.
¿Qué me dices de ti? ¿Qué se te da bien? Tal vez trabajar con el metal y la madera como Hiram Abí no sea lo tuyo. Sin embargo, puedes ser increíble arreglando bicicletas, dibujando, enseñando a niños pequeños o ayudando con las computadoras. ¿Sabes una cosa? ¡Eso le encanta a Dios!
No tienes que andar cantando himnos o leyendo tu Biblia para alabar a Dios. Como Hiram Abí, puedes usar tus crecientes talentos para ayudar a otros y hacer sonreír a Dios… aunque sea construyendo ciudades con legos.
Oración
Señor, de verdad me gusta hacer aquello que se me da bien. Sin embargo, tan solo había pensado en ello como diversión. Te ruego que me muestres cómo y cuándo usar mis aptitudes para servirte.
Day 321 – You Tracking?
I am sending you Huram-Abi, a man of great skill … He is trained to work in gold and silver, bronze and iron, stone and wood, and with purple and blue and crimson yarn and fine linen. He is experienced in all kinds of engraving and can execute any design given to him.

King Solomon faced so many choices with his building project. He constructed a temple (like a church) using materials like stone, wood, and precious metals. And he needed someone really talented to help him finish the job.
So Solomon hired a man named Huram-Abi, who could do wonders with metals, rocks, wood, and fabrics. Those skills made Huram-Abi the rock star of ancient Jewish design and construction. And because the temple would glorify God, Huram-Abi was definitely needed to make it the best-looking building in the world.
How about you? What are you good at? Maybe working with metal and wood like Huram-Abi is not your thing. But maybe you rock at fixing bikes, drawing, teaching little kids, or helping with computers. Guess what? God loves that!
You don’t have to be singing hymns or reading your Bible to praise God. Like Huram-Abi, you can use your growing talents to help others and make God smile—even if it’s building Lego cities.
Prayer
Lord, I really love doing what I’m good at. But I hadn’t thought about it as more than just fun. Will you show me how and when to use my abilities to serve you?
