Dios, de su gran variedad de dones espirituales, les ha dado un don a cada uno de ustedes. Úsenlos bien para servirse los unos a los otros.

Dios te ha dado algunas aptitudes, talentos y dones espirituales. Ha realizado una inversión en ti. Quiere y espera ver que usas lo que te ha proporcionado. Si no utilizas los talentos que has recibido, otras personas estarán perdiendo por no contribuir tú con aquello con lo que Dios te ha equipado, de una forma única, y con lo que tienes que proveer.
Si quieres llegar a ser más fiel, usa tus talentos. Tal vez contestarás: «Bueno, pero es que yo no tengo los talentos de esa persona. No puedo cantar como ella». La fidelidad no depende de lo que no tengas o no puedas hacer. Tú no eres responsible de cantar solos para Dios si él no te ha concedido ese don. No obstante, sí tienes la responsabilidad de usar los dones y talentos que él te ha proporcionado.
La vida se compone, en gran medida, de pequeñas cosas. Sé fiel en lo pequeño. Este tipo de cosas, como por ejemplo leer la Palabra de Dios y orar, produce grandes resultados. No todos podemos ser brillantes, pero sí podemos ser fieles. ¡Y para Dios, lo que cuenta es la fidelidad!
Oración:
Señor, quiero ser más fiel, no solo en las grandes cosas, sino también en las pequeñas. A veces uno siente que las pequeñas cosas no influyen tanto. Sin embargo, yo sé que tú harás grandes cosas si yo te soy fiel.
Day 301 – Use It or Lose
It God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.
(1 PETER 4:10, NLT)
God has given you some spiritual abilities, talents, and gifts. He has made an investment in you. He wants and expects to see you use what he’s given to you. If you do not use the talents you have been given, other people are losing out because you are not contributing what God has uniquely equipped you to provide.
If you want to become more faithful, use your talents. You might say, “Well, I’m not talented like that person. I can’t sing the way she can.” Faithfulness does not depend on what you do not have or cannot do. Faithfulness depends on what you do with what you have. You are not responsible for singing solos for God if he didn’t give you that gift. But you are responsible for using the gifts and talents God has given.
Life is largely made up of little things. Be faithful in the little things. The little things, such as reading God’s Word and praying, produce big results. We cannot all be brilliant, but we can all be faithful. And faithfulness is what counts with God!
Prayer:
God, I want to be more faithful, not just in the big things but in the little things, too. It doesn’t feel like the little things make that much of a difference. But I know you will do big things if I’m faithful to you.
