¿Has oído hablar de la última «marca de ropa»? En realidad no es tan nueva; ha estado disponible durante miles de años. El centro comercial no la tiene; tampoco puedes encontrarla en Walmart. No puedes conseguir esas prendas de vestir online, y esta marca no puede usarse sola.
La marca es humildad. Te vistes, como es normal, por la mañana: falda, pantalón, zapatos. Luego te echas otra capa encima, como si fuera un abrigo largo, de humildad.
Así como uno lleva el color adecuado al tono de la piel, la marca de humildad realza tu aspecto. Te permite presumir de tu estilo propio y pega con todo lo que ya posees. Lo único que desentona con ella es el orgullo y el egoísmo. Incluso cuando vistes la marca de humildad, el orgullo y el egoísmo pueden hacer su aparición de vez en cuando.
Muchas personas no tienen las agallas de vestir la marca de humildad. Prefieren no tapar lo demás. Por esta razón, esta marca es exclusiva. Solo es para quienes tengan una relación con el diseñador: el Espíritu Santo. ¿La quieres?
Oración
Señor, tu marca es exclusiva y por buenas razones: la humildad resulta difícil de llevar. Sin embargo, sobrevivirá a cualquier otra moda. Te ruego que me vistas de ella cada día.
Day 299 – Fashion Statement
In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”

Have you heard of the latest “clothing brand”? It’s actually not that new; it’s been available for thousands of years. The mall doesn’t carry it; neither does Walmart. You can’t get these clothes online, and this brand can’t be worn alone.
The brand Is humility. You get dressed like normal in the morning—shirt, pants, shoes. Then you throw on another layer, like a long coat, of humility.
Like wearing the right color for your skin tone, the humble brand enhances your appearance. This brand lets you show off your own style and goes with everything you already own. The only thing it clashes with is pride and selfishness. Even when you’re wearing the humble brand, pride and selfishness may slip out from time to time.
Many people don’t have the guts to wear the humble brand. They’d rather not cover up everything else. That’s why this brand is exclusive. It’s only for those who have a connection to the designer—the Holy Spirit. Want in?
Prayer
God, your brand is exclusive for good reason: humility is tough to wear. But it will outlast any other fashion. Please clothe me in it every day.
