Ese proceso continuará hasta que todos alcancemos tal unidad en nuestra fe y conocimiento del Hijo de Dios que seamos maduros en el Señor, es decir, hasta que lleguemos a la plena y completa medida de Cristo.

Eres una obra en progreso. El crecimiento requiere años. Te harás más alto. Más fuerte. Más inteligente. Tu voz y tus gustos cambiarán. Así que no te preocupes por intentar crecer con demasiada rapidez. Dios te diseñó para que crecieras lentamente.
Ser como Cristo también es algo que exige tiempo. Es un proceso lento de crecimiento. Incluso cuando un día seas ya físicamente un adulto, la madurez espiritual se producirá durante el resto de tu vida. En ocasiones puede parecer que tarda una eternidad. ¡Y es que será así! Tu crecimiento no se completará aquí en la tierra. Por tanto, ¡relájate! Solo se acabará cuando llegues al cielo o cuando Jesús regrese. Cualquier obra que quede será concluida en ese momento. La Biblia asevera que cuando seamos por fin capaces de ver a Jesús a la perfección, nos volveremos perfectamente como él (1 Juan 3.2).
Oración
Jesús, espero el día en que pueda verte perfectamente. Cuando me desaliente por mi crecimiento espiritual, aliéntame tú a seguir esforzándome hacia la perfección.
Day 207 • Slowly, Slowly
This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
(EPHESIANS 4:13, NLT)
You are a work in progress. It takes years to grow up. You’ll get taller. You’ll get stronger. You’ll get smarter. Your voice and tastes will change. So don’t worry about trying to grow up too fast. God designed you to grow slowly.
Becoming like Christ takes time too. It’s a slow process of growth. Even when you’re physically an adult one day, spiritual maturity will take the rest of your life. Sometimes it can feel like it’s taking forever. And it will! Your growth won’t be completed here on Earth. So relax! It will only be finished when you get to Heaven or when Jesus returns. Whatever work is left will be wrapped up then. The Bible says that when we are finally able to see Jesus perfectly, we will become perfectly like him (1 John 3:2).
Prayer
Jesus, I look forward to the day when I can see you perfectly. When I get discouraged about my spiritual growth, encourage me to keep pressing on toward perfection.
