Sigue orando
La oración es una parte importante de nuestra relación con Dios, quizás la más importante. En una relación es vital que las dos partes mantengan comunicación honesta y abierta.
No trates de esconder cosas que hiciste en el pasado ni lo que estás pensando que no es de Dios. Confiésalo todo delante de tu Padre celestial y Él te perdonará todo.
Ahora, Dios quiere oír de tus labios todo lo que hay en tu corazón y en tu mente pero también quiere que lo escuches a Él. En eso fallamos mucho. Hablamos y hablamos, pedimos, nos quejamos y clamamos pero no queremos o no sabemos escuchar.
Toma tiempo hoy para escuchar la voz de Dios. Durante tu tiempo a solas con Dios, permanece en silencio y escucha. Quizás te hable en tu corazón o en la Palabra, quizás a través de devocionales pero Él siempre te responderá.
Oración para hoy
Padre celestial, gracias por darme la bendición de comunicarme contigo. Quiero escuchar tu voz y conocer tu voluntad. Ayúdame a acercarme más a ti. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén.
Devocional día 20
Y El le dijo: AMARAS AL SEÑOR TU DIOS CON TODO TU CORAZON, Y CON TODA TU ALMA, Y CON TODA TU MENTE.

Ámalo con todo
El Señor nos pone como primer mandamiento amarlo a Él. No solo gustarte, sino amarlo con toda tu mente, con todo tu corazón y con todas tus fuerzas.
No es suficiente con dedicarle una hora cada domingo y olvidarse de Él el resto del tiempo. Hay mucha gente que dicen que aman a Dios pero no lo hacen parte de su vida.
Todo lo que hacemos en este ayuno son cosas que deberíamos estar haciendo de todos modos. Úsalo como una recarga espiritual y continúa buscando a Dios con todas tus fuerzas.
Lo importante de ese primer mandamiento es que si realmente llegamos a amar a Dios como Él no los pide, podremos llevar los otros 9 mandamientos. Pídele a Dios que a través del Espíritu Santo, te ayude a amarlo como Él quiere que lo ames.
Day 20
Keep Praying
Prayer is an important part of our relationship with God, perhaps the most important. In any relationship, it’s vital that both parties maintain honest and open communication.
Don’t try to hide things you did in the past or thoughts you’re having that aren’t pleasing to God. Confess everything to your heavenly Father, and He will forgive you completely.
Now, God wants to hear from you everything that’s in your heart and mind, but He also wants you to listen to Him. This is where we often fail. We talk and talk, we ask, we complain, and we cry out, but we don’t want to listen or we don’t know how to listen.
Take time today to listen to God’s voice. During your time alone with God, be still and listen. He might speak to you in your heart or through His Word, perhaps through devotionals, but He will always answer you.
Prayer for today
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving me the blessing of communicating with you. I want to hear your voice and know your will. Help me to draw closer to you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.”

Love Him with all your heart
The Lord gives us the first commandment: to love Him. Not just to like Him, but to love Him with all your mind, with all your heart, and with all your strength.
It’s not enough to dedicate an hour every Sunday and forget about Him the rest of the time. There are many people who say they love God but don’t make Him a part of their lives.
Everything we’re doing during this fast is something we should be doing anyway. Use it as a spiritual recharge and continue seeking God with all your might.
The important thing about this first commandment is that if we truly come to love God as He asks us to, we will be able to keep the other nine commandments. Ask God, through the Holy Spirit, to help you love Him the way He wants you to love Him.
