Los ataques vendrán pero mayor es Él
Al enemigo no le gusta verte en victoria espiritual, tu gozo, tu paz y tu cercanía con Dios le molesta. Él está buscando el momento en que bajes la guardia para poder atacar.
Pero no hay porque temer si permanecemos en Jesús y en su Palabra. El Señor es escudo alrededor de nosotros, nuestra roca de salvación. En Él está la fuente de vida y la Paz que sobrepasa todo entendimiento.
Cuando los ataques espirituales vengan sólo repréndelos y declara la Palabra. Si los dardos del enemigo penetran es porque alguna puerta has abierto. En algo has desobedecido pero lo único que tienes que hacer es arrepentirte y dejar atrás el pecado.
Nada nos puede dañar mientras estemos en el redil. Pero el lobo está a fuera esperando para devorar al que se salga. El buen Pastor nos protégé así que permanece en su presencia.
Oración para hoy
Señor y Padre, te doy las gracias por ser mi sustento y mi Pastor. En tu presencia estoy seguro y nada me dañará. Ayúdame a permanecer en tu redil y morar bajo la sombra de tus alas. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén. ∞∞∞
Devocional día 17
Porque no tenemos un sumo sacerdote que no pueda compadecerse de nuestras flaquezas, sino uno que ha sido tentado en todo como nosotros, pero sin pecado. (Hebreos 4:15 NBLH)
Él sabe lo que estás pasando El Señor Jesús no es extraño a las tentaciones que enfrentas día a día. Él fue tentado en todo, es decir, cualquier tentación que puedas tener Él la tuvo pero nunca pecó.
El ser tentado no significa que nuestra vida espiritual este mal, todo lo contrario. Los que somos realmente cristianos, nacidos de nuevo y llenos del Espíritu Santo enfrentamos muchas tentaciones pues somos una amenaza al reino de las tinieblas.
Lo que hacemos con la tentación es lo que hace la diferencia. Si al ser tentado nos ponemos a pesar en eso y a razonar con la tentación probablemente caerás. Las tentaciones se reprenden con la Palabra inmediatamente que se presentan.
Podemos pecar con nuestra mente la cual es donde se da la guerra espiritual. No dejes que ningún pensamiento pecaminoso habite en tu mente porque son una puerta en la cual el enemigo puede entrar. Vence la tentación con la Palabra, Jesús nos enseñó cómo se hace.
Day 17
Attacks will come, but He is greater
The enemy doesn’t like to see you in spiritual victory; your joy, your peace, and your closeness to God bother him. He is looking for the moment you let your guard down so he can attack.
But there is no need to fear if we remain in Jesus and in His Word. The Lord is a shield around us, our rock of salvation. In Him is the source of life and the peace that surpasses all understanding.
When spiritual attacks come, simply rebuke them and declare the Word. If the enemy’s darts penetrate, it’s because you have opened some door. You have disobeyed in something, but all you have to do is repent and leave the sin behind.
Nothing can harm us while we are in the fold. But the wolf is outside waiting to devour anyone who strays. The Good Shepherd protects us, so remain in His presence.
Prayer for today: Lord and Father, I thank You for being my sustenance and my Shepherd. In Your presence I am safe, and nothing will harm me. Help me to remain in Your fold and dwell under the shadow of Your wings. In the name of Jesus. Amen. ∞∞∞
Devotional Day 17:
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. (Hebrews 4:15 NIV)
He knows what you are going through. The Lord Jesus is no stranger to the temptations you face every day. He was tempted in every way; that is, any temptation you may have, He had it too, but He never sinned.
Being tempted does not mean that our spiritual life is in trouble; quite the opposite. Those of us who are truly Christians, born again and filled with the Holy Spirit, face many temptations because we are a threat to the kingdom of darkness.
What we do with temptation is what makes the difference. If, when tempted, we dwell on it and reason with the temptation, we will probably fall. Temptations should be rebuked with the Word immediately when they arise. We can sin with our minds, which is where the spiritual battle takes place. Don’t let any sinful thought dwell in your mind, because they are a doorway through which the enemy can enter. Overcome temptation with the Word of God; Jesus showed us how to do it.
