Quién cómo Dios
De todas las cosas en que podemos poner nuestra confianza, sólo Dios nunca falla. Él es bueno y su amor por nosotros es infinito e incondicional. Somos su creación especial, la niña de sus ojos.
Tendemos en poner nuestra confianza en los hombres, algo natural, pero el problema es que todos fallamos. No sólo que hay una porción de maldad en cada una de nosotros la cual luchamos en contra todos los días, sino que también cuando no hacen o dicen lo que esperamos nos decepcionamos.
Pero Dios no es así, Él siempre está disponible para nosotros en todo momento. Nos guía, nos conforta, nos protégé, nos provee y nos da paz y gozo. Nosotros somos lo que le fallamos a Él con el simple acto de desobedecer u olvidando pasar tiempo con Él.
No hay nadie como nuestro Dios, no hay quien salve, sane o restaure. Sé que hay personas que buscan algo más que Dios porque no le conocen. Pero no hay nadie más, sólo Dios.
Oración para hoy
Mi Dios, te amo tanto y sé que no hay nadie como tú. Hoy pongo toda mi confianza en ti y solo en ti. Ayúdame a esforzarme en ti y a permanecer en tu presencia. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén.
Devocional día 12
Por consiguiente, no hay ahora condenación para los que están en Cristo Jesús, los que no andan conforme a la carne sino conforme al Espíritu. (Romanos 8:1 NBLH)
¿Por qué sigues condenándote?
Ya lo que hicimos en el pasado ha quedado atrás. Sí, no estamos orgullosos de nuestro pasado pero fue un pasado sin Dios y si Dios no estuvo en nuestras vidas no hay de que sorprendernos.
Si nos arrepentimos de nuestros pecados y le dimos nuestro corazón a Jesús, todo eso pecados fueron perdonados, lavados y olvidados por nuestro Padre celestial.
No permitas que el enemigo te recuerde que tan malo eras y que terrible es tu pasado. Recuérdale quién eres tú hoy y quién vive en tí. Nosotros andamos en el Espíritu y no en la carne, hemos vencido por la sangre del Cordero.
Cuando vengan pensamientos negativos y de condenación, repréndelos en el nombre Jesús. Y si alguien te dice “pero tú eres así”, refiriéndose a tu pasado, tú le dirás “yo era” ahora Cristo vive en mí. ¡Soy una nueva criatura!
Day 12
Who is like God?
Of all the things we can put our trust in, only God never fails. He is good, and His love for us is infinite and unconditional. We are His special creation, the apple of His eye.
We tend to put our trust in people, which is natural, but the problem is that we all fail. Not only is there a portion of evil in each of us that we struggle against every day, but also when people don’t do or say what we expect, we are disappointed.
But God is not like that; He is always available to us at all times. He guides us, comforts us, protects us, provides for us, and gives us peace and joy. We are the ones who fail Him by simply disobeying or forgetting to spend time with Him.
There is no one like our God; there is no one who saves, heals, or restores. I know there are people who seek something other than God because they don’t know Him. But there is no one else, only God.
Prayer for today
My God, I love You so much, and I know there is no one like You. Today I place all my trust in You and only in You. Help me to strive for You and to remain in Your presence. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Devotional Day 12
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (Romans 8:1 KJ21)
Why do you keep condemning yourself?
What we did in the past is behind us. Yes, we are not proud of our past, but it was a past without God, and if God was not in our lives, there is nothing to be surprised about.
If we repented of our sins and gave our hearts to Jesus, all those sins were forgiven, washed away, and forgotten by our heavenly Father.
Don’t let the enemy remind you how bad you were and how terrible your past is. Remind him who you are today and who lives in you. We walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh; we have overcome by the blood of the Lamb. When negative and condemning thoughts come, rebuke them in the name of Jesus. And if someone says to you, “But that’s just how you are,” referring to your past, you will say to them, “That’s how I “was”; now Christ lives in me. I am a new creation!”
