Empezando con el libro del Génesis y a lo largo de la Biblia, leemos sobre la ley de la siembra y la cosecha. El tipo de semilla que sembramos determina el tipo de cosecha que obtenemos. Algunas personas piensan que pueden sembrar malas semillas (tomar malas decisiones) y luego pedirle a Dios por un buen cultivo (buenos resultados y no sufrir consecuencias), pero esto no opera de esa manera.
Afortunadamente, Dios es misericordioso y paciente, y perdona nuestros pecados si nos arrepentimos de ellos. Pero aquellos que constantemente siembran semillas de ira, egoísmo, pereza y otros actos injustos, eventualmente cosecharán un cultivo que no disfrutarán. Me encanta la ley de la siembra y la cosecha porque me emociona pensar que puedo atraer bendiciones a mi vida, bendiciendo a otros. Cuando sembramos semillas de obediencia a Dios, podemos estar seguros de que él enviará una cosecha de mil cosas buenas.
Nuestros pensamientos, palabras y obras equivalen a las semillas que sembramos. Te animo a examinar lo que siembras y a plantar según lo que desees cosechar en tu vida. La Biblia dice que, si sembramos para nuestra carne, cosecharemos corrupción, pero si sembramos para el Espíritu, segaremos vida eterna (Gálatas 6:8). Si siembras misericordia, cosecharás misericordia; si cultivas juicios, recogerás juicios; si plantas generosamente, vas a recibir una cosecha generosa. Empieza hoy a sembrar más semillas buenas que nunca.
Oración:
“Padre, me arrepiento de todas las malas semillas que he plantado. Te ruego que me ayudes a comenzar hoy a sembrar buenas semillas, y así colectar para mi vida la mejor de las cosechas. Gracias. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén”.
SOWING AND REAPING
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.

Beginning in the Book of Genesis and throughout Scripture, we read about the law of sowing and reaping. The kind of seed we sow determines the type of harvest we receive. Some people think they can sow bad seed (make bad choices) and then pray for a good crop (good results with no negative consequences), but it doesn’t work that way.
Thankfully, God is merciful and patient, and He forgives our sins if we repent of them. But those who continually sow seeds of anger, selfishness, laziness, or other unrighteous deeds will eventually reap a harvest they will not enjoy. I love the law of sowing and reaping because it excites me to think that I can draw blessings into my life by blessing others. As we sow seeds of obedience to God, we can be assured that He will send a harvest of many good things our way.
Our thoughts, words, and deeds are equivalent to seeds sown. I encourage you to examine what you are sowing and to sow according to what you desire to reap in your life. The Bible says that if we sow to please our own flesh, we will reap corruption, but if we sow to please the Spirit, we will reap eternal life (Galatians 6:8). If you sow mercy, you will reap mercy; if you sow judgment, you will reap judgment; if you sow generously, you will reap generously. Get started today sowing more good seed than ever before.
Prayer:
“Father, I repent for all the bad seed I have sown, and I ask You to help me start today to sow good seed so I can reap a good harvest in my life. Thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
