Los científicos pueden ayudarnos a entender muchas cosas. Poseen el conocimiento (y los medios) para explicar por qué la naturaleza se comporta como lo hace. Sin embargo, no pueden explicarlo todo. Por ejemplo, el comienzo exacto del universo es algo que los desconcierta. Solo pueden hacer conjeturas. Algunas cosas siguen siendo un misterio, y solo Dios puede explicar tales cosas (si quiere).
Esto es, exactamente, lo que Daniel estaba intentando decirle al rey. Aunque Daniel tenía la reputación de ser capaz de interpretar sueños, siempre le daba el crédito de inmediato a Dios por su aptitud. Sabía que él era una persona normal y no quería robarle la gloria a Dios.
Es fácil sentirse intimidado por aquellos que son más inteligentes que tú. Cuando te comparas con otros, siempre encontrarás a alguien con mayor capacidad. No obstante, el juego de la comparación no tiene sentido. Un uso más inteligente del tiempo consiste en darle gracias a Dios por los dones que tienes y expresar gratitud por ser él quien más sabe, incluso más que la persona que ostenta el coeficiente intelectual más alto. No te rebajes, ¡sino levanta la cabeza!

Señor, es posible que no sepa mucho sobre algunas cosas, pero sí sé que tú lo sabes todo, y que me conoces a mí. Gracias.
Day 343 – Okay with You
Daniel replied, “No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries.” (DANIEL 2:27–28A)
Scientists can help us understand a lot. They have the knowledge (and means) to explain why nature behaves the way it does. But they can’t explain everything. For example, the exact beginning of the universe baffles them. They can only guess. Some things remain a mystery, and only God can explain such things (if he wants to).
That’s exactly what Daniel was attempting to tell the king. Although Daniel had a reputation for being able to interpret dreams, he was quick to credit the Lord for his ability. He knew he was only an average guy and didn’t want to steal God’s glory.
It’s easy to be intimidated by those who are smarter than you. When you compare yourself to others, you will always find someone who is more capable. But the comparison game is pointless. A smarter use of time is to thank God for the gifts you have and express gratitude that he knows more than the person with the highest IQ. Don’t put yourself down. Instead, look up!
