Después de estas cosas vino la palabra de Jehová a Abraham en visión, diciendo: No temas, Abraham; yo soy tu escudo, y tu galardón será sobremanera grande.

Dios le pidió a Abraham que hiciera cosas verdaderamente complicadas, pero le prometió que su recompensa sería muy grande. ¿Te ha pedido Dios alguna vez hacer algo muy difícil? Si es así, te animo a recibir su gracia (habilidad), y a ser obediente y hacer todo lo que te pida. Tu recompensa vendrá y cuando llegue, vas a estar muy satisfecho.
Dios pide que caminemos a su lado con fe, haciendo siempre lo que nos solicite incluso si requiere de un gran sacrificio. Lo que Dios nos exige, eventualmente hará nuestras vidas mejores, porque él desea siempre en su corazón nuestro mayor bien. Cree en la bondad de Dios y no te canses de hacer el bien; “a su tiempo segaremos, si no desmayamos” (Gálatas 6:9).
Oración:
“Padre, ayúdame a hacer todo lo que me pidas y a siempre caminar con fe, confiando en que mi recompensa excederá mis expectativas. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén”.
GOD’S REWARD
After these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram, I am your Shield, your abundant compensation, and your reward shall be exceedingly great.
—GENESIS 15:1 AMPC
God asked Abram to do some very difficult things, but He also promised him that his reward would be very great. Has God asked you to do something that you find difficult? If so, I want to encourage you to receive His grace (ability) and be obedient and do all that He asks of you. Your reward will come, and when it does, you will be very glad.
God requires that we walk with Him by faith, always doing what He asks us to do, even if it requires a sacrifice. Everything God asks of us will eventually make our lives better because He always has our best interests at heart. Believe in the goodness of God and do not “grow weary of doing good,” for you will reap “in due season” if you “do not give up” (Galatians 6:9 ESV).
Prayer:
“Father, help me do all that You ask me to do, and to always walk in faith, trusting that my reward from You will be exceedingly great. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
