Es, pues, la fe la certeza de lo que se espera, la convicción de lo que no se ve.

Hoy tenemos fe en que Dios se hará cargo de cualquier error que hayamos cometido ayer y que el mañana está en sus manos. Esto y solo esto, nos permite disfrutar al máximo del presente. El hoy es un regalo de Dios. Desaprovechar la alegría y las oportunidades que nos brinda debido al arrepentimiento por lo que haya ocurrido en el pasado o por miedo al futuro, no representa la voluntad de Dios.
La verdadera fe siempre opera en el “ahora” de nuestras vidas y solamente ella nos permite vivir en paz y disfrutar del presente. Todo está en manos de Dios, y él tiene un plan para cada uno de nosotros (Jeremías 29:11). En vez de sentir miedo o aprehensión del futuro, podemos esperarlo con emoción.
Espera que algo bueno te pase “a ti” y a “través de ti”. Mientras lo haces, sentirás atravesar tu alma una alegría que solo Dios puede darnos. Suelta lo que quedó atrás (Isaías 43:18-19; Filipenses 3:13-14), porque Dios está en este momento obrando algo extraordinario en ti y en tu vida. ¡Y no querrás perdértelo!
Oración:
“Padre, enséñame a vivir en el presente. Ayúdame a confiar en que estás trabajando en convertir en algo bueno cualquier arrepentimiento de mi pasado y en que mi futuro será maravilloso. Gracias. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén”.
LIVING IN THE NOW
Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality.
—HEBREWS 11:1 AMPC
Today (now) we have faith that God will take care of any mistakes we made yesterday and that He holds tomorrow in His hand. This alone allows us to enjoy and live fully today. Today is the gift we have from God. To miss the joy and opportunities it holds due to regret over the past or dread of the future is not God’s will for us.
True faith must always operate in the “now” season of our lives, and faith alone enables us to be at peace and enjoy the present moment. Everything is in God’s hands, and He has a good plan for each of us (Jeremiah 29:11). Rather than dreading or feeling apprehensive about the future, we can live with expectancy regarding it.
Expect something good to happen to you and through you. As you do, you will find a joy that only God can give coursing through your soul. Let go of what lies behind (Isaiah 43:18–19; Philippians 3:13–14) because God is doing something amazing in you and in your life right now, and you don’t want to miss it!
Prayer:
“Father, teach me to live fully in the now season of my life. Help me trust You to work something good out of anything I might regret from my past and to trust that my future holds something wonderful. Thank You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
