¡Podríamos evitar tantos problemas si tan solo obedeciéramos a Dios! A veces culpamos a personas o circunstancias por las pruebas y tribulaciones que enfrentamos, sin ver que muchas veces están enraizadas en nuestra propia desobediencia. Es cierto que todos enfrentamos problemas en la vida, incluso quienes obedecen a Dios. Si la obediencia nos evita problemas, ¿por qué entonces no somos lo suficientemente sabios para entenderlo?
En primer lugar, deberíamos obedecer a Dios porque lo amamos y lo honramos, no solo para evitar problemas. Pero creo que podríamos disfrutar de un doble beneficio, si permitiéramos que su Palabra guiara todas nuestras acciones. Sigamos el consejo de María a los sirvientes en las bodas de Caná: “Haced todo lo que os dijere” (Juan 2:5).
Oración:
“Padre, perdón por ser desobediente. Me arrepiento de ello y recibo tu perdón. También te pido que me ayudes otorgándome sabiduría para obedecer prontamente a todo lo que me solicites. En el nombre de Jesús. Amén”.
SIMPLE OBEDIENCE
Now therefore listen to me, O you sons; for blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are those who keep my ways.

We could avoid many problems in our lives if we would simply obey God. We may be guilty of blaming people or circumstances for trials and tribulations that are actually rooted In our own disobedience. Certainly, everyone experiences difficulty in life, even people who are very obedient to God. If pursuing a greater lifestyle of obedience would prevent some of our problems, why would we not be wise enough to do so?
We should seek to obey God primarily because we love and honor Him, not merely to avoid trouble. But I think we can enjoy a double benefit by letting His Word guide us in all of our actions. Let’s follow Mary’s advice to the servants at the wedding at Cana: “Whatever He says to you, do it” (John 2:5 AMPC).
Prayer:
“Father, I am sorry for any disobedience in my life. I repent for it, and I receive Your forgiveness. I also ask that You help me and grant me the wisdom to promptly obey all that You want me to do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
