El cielo tiene una línea de emergencia que funciona las veinticuatro horas. Dios quiere que le pidas ayuda para vencer la tentación. Cuando esta golpea, no tienes tiempo para una larga conversación con Dios; sencillamente lloras. David, Daniel, Pedro, Pablo y millones de otras personas han elevado este tipo de oración instantánea pidiendo ayuda en la aflicción. Se le denomina oración de «microondas», porque es rápida y va al grano: ¡Ayuda! ¡SOS! ¡Auxilio!
La Biblia garantiza que nuestro clamor pidiendo ayuda se oirá, porque Jesús entiende nuestras luchas. Se enfrentó a las mismas tentaciones que nosotros, «sin embargo, él nunca pecó» (Hebreos 4.15, NTV). El amor de Dios es eterno y su paciencia dura para siempre. Si tienes que clamar a Dios pidiendo ayuda doscientas veces al día para derrotar a una tentación particular, él seguirá estando ansioso por proporcionar misericordia y gracia, de modo que ven con valentía. Dios nunca se irrita, se aburre ni se impacienta cuando venimos a él una y otra vez. Pídele el poder para hacer lo correcto y después espera que él provea.
Oración
Jesús, tú entiendes la tentación y acoges de buen grado mis llantos pidiendo ayuda. No te hartas de mí. Necesito tu ayuda, tu amor y tu bondad cada día.

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me.

Heaven has a twenty-four-hour emergency hotline. God wants you to ask him to help you overcome temptation. When temptation strikes, you don’t have time for a long conversation with God; you simply cry out. David, Daniel, Peter, Paul, and millions of others have prayed this kind of instant prayer for help in trouble. This is called a “microwave” prayer because it is quick and to the point: Help! SOS! Mayday!
The Bible guarantees that our cry for help will be heard, because Jesus understands our struggles. He faced the same temptations we do, “yet he did not sin” (Hebrews 4:15, NLT). God’s love is everlasting, and his patience endures forever. If you have to cry out for God’s help two hundred times a day to defeat a particular temptation, he will still be eager to give mercy and grace, so come boldly. God never gets irritated, bored, or impatient when we keep coming back to him. Ask him for the power to do the right thing, and then expect him to provide it.
Prayer
Jesus, you understand temptation, and you welcome my cries for help. You don’t get sick of me. I need your help, love, and kindness every day.
