Muchos nos levantamos asumiendo que nuestras vidas nos pertenecen y por lo tanto podemos hacer lo que queramos, pero la verdad es totalmente lo contrario. No somos dueños de nosotros mismos, pues Jesús nos compró con su sangre y nos hizo suyos. Cada día deberíamos procurar hacer la voluntad de Dios y glorificarlo en todo aspecto práctico de nuestra vida.
Permite que las decisiones que tomes hoy sean en la consciencia de que no te perteneces y debes considerar lo que Dios quisiera que hicieras. Ser obediente a la voluntad de Dios es el sendero hacia una vida maravillosa, llena de alegría, paz y todo lo bueno. Construye el hábito de preguntarte: “¿qué haría Jesús ante esta situación?” y luego sigue sus pasos.
Oración:
“Padre, gracias por vivir dentro de mí. Te pido que me hables con claridad en todo momento y me muestres tu voluntad. Otórgame la gracia para siempre seguir tus pasos y glorificarte en toda cosa que hago. Amén”.
YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN
Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own.

Most of us wake up each day assuming that our lives belong to us and therefore we can do as we please, but the truth is the exact opposite. We are not our own, for Jesus purchased us with His own blood and made us His own. We should seek daily to do God’s will and to glorify Him in the practical aspects of our lives.
Let each decision you make today be made with the thought that you are not your own and that you need to consider what God would have you do in every situation. Being obedient to God’s will is the pathway to an amazing life—a life filled with joy, peace, and every good thing. Make a habit of asking, “What would Jesus do in this situation?” and then follow Him.
Prayer:
“Father, thank You for living in me. Speak clearly to me at all times and show me Your will. Grant me the grace to always follow You and to glorify You in all my ways. Amen.”
